The Cederberg Fynbos

A landscape unlike anywhere on earth

The Cederberg Mountains rise from the Western Cape like a fortress of ancient sandstone, carved by wind and time into shapes that feel mythological. This is the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom — one of only six floral kingdoms on earth, and the smallest, yet home to more plant species per square kilometre than the Amazon.

Fynbos blooms here in colours that have no names. Proteas, ericas, restios — a living tapestry that feeds our bees and fills the mountain air with something close to wild perfume. Capeflori was born from this place. Everything we do is rooted in it.
